How do I mount and align a crosswalk lighting fixture?
This article describes and illustrates basic crosswalk lighting (CXL) installation considerations.

CXL Fixture mounting height:
Typical fixture mounting heights are 13 feet for a narrow crosswalk and 15 feet for wider crossings.
Note: These are guidelines only, please consult the project plans or contact Carmanah for assistance.
CXL Fixture aiming:
Crosswalk lighting fixtures (CXL's) should always be positioned so that the fixture is projecting over the roadway and not down towards the pedestrian waiting area or sidewalk.
