Can I use SPEEDCHECK-MX as a car counter?

Vehicle estimates can be downloaded on site using the MX Field App. Remote vehicle data can be accessed using MX Cloud via a web browser.

SPEEDCHECK-MX systems can only provide an estimated number of vehicles logged during a given reporting period. The system should not be used as a car counting mechanism or to gauge an estimated amount of vehicles passing through a corridor. The data that it will provide is an estimated number of vehicles, which is rounded off, that the system has logged over any given time period.

SPEEDCHECK-MX is used as a traffic calming measure and is not meant to be an accurate car counting tool. Vehicle speeds (and timestamps for raw/local data) will be accurate metrics that can be used when analyzing vehicle data.
