Can I adapt from the Applied Information AI-500-070B wiring harness to AI-500-070C/030?
This article discusses an adapter harness available from Carmanah for your Applied Information (AI) equipped system or customer supplied AI-500-070B modem.

- SpeedCheck: SPEEDCHECK-12, SPEEDCHECK-15, and SPEEDCHECK-18
E Series systems are not compatible with the AI-500-070B modem but can integrate the AI-500-070C/030.
Starting in 2022 Q3 Carmanah has an available adapter harness to utilize the standard Applied Information AI-500-070 harness and connect directly to an AI-500-030/070C. This adapter harness is included in all of our AI Integration Kits. Customers will now be able retrofit to an existing system or integrate into a new installation without having to rewire the system.
- E/F Series systems optioned with the respective Carmanah AI Integration Kit will be completely prewired with the AI-500-070B harness and adapter harness, ready for a customer to integrate the AI-500-030/070C.
- G Series systems with the respective Carmanah AI Integration Kit will include a kit of parts for a customer to install and integrate the AI-500-030/070C.
- SPEEDCHECK-12/15/18 systems with the respective Carmanah AI Integration Kit will include a kit of parts for a customer to install and integrate the AI-500-030/070C.

Carmanah only uses the AI-500-070B, but it can be considered equivalent to the AI-500-070 and AI-500-071 in terms of wiring and compatibility with the adapter harness.
