Product Applicability

This bulletin applies to the following product:

MX Series: SPEEDCHECK-MX

Background

You may encounter the far right end of the radar speed sign display dimmer than the rest of the display. This can affect both numerical digits and the SLOW DOWN message.

If this issue occurs, it is purely "cosmetic" in nature. The system will remain fully operational and will continue to function (scheduling, display vehicle speeds, collect vehicle data...etc).

Procedure

A firmware update is required to version 1.2.92 or newer.

Carmanah will be deploying an "over-the-air" update if any system becomes affected. Any system not at least at 1.2.92 may be proactively targeted for a future scheduled update. Any new system that becomes deployed after 9/16/2026 may fall under this targeted update plan.

System will be unavailable for a short period of time during the update. Updates will be carried out overnight during non-peak operational hours.
