Product Applicability

This bulletin applies to the following product:

MX Series: SPEEDCHECK-MX

Background

You may encounter the far right end of the radar speed sign display dimmer than the rest of the display. This can affect both numerical digits and the SLOW DOWN message.

The system is fully operational and will continue to function (run its schedule, display vehicle speeds, collect vehicle data...etc). The issue is "cosmetic" in nature where the LED brightness is not uniform across the entire display.

Procedure

A firmware update is required to version 1.2.90 or newer. Carmanah will be proactively deploying an "over-the-air" updating starting XX/XX/XXXX for systems in the field that are running firmware version 1.1.5 or lower.

System will be unavailable for a short period of time during the update. Updates will be carried out overnight during non-peak operational hours.
