How do I configure my MX system for triple alternating or quad alternating beacons?
This article details setting the flash sequence appropriately for MX Beacon modules.

The following products are discussed in this article:
- MX Series: R920-MX, R829-MX, and R247-MX
MX Beacon modules have a DIP switch located on their circuit board for setting a 0.5 second flash delay.
- Flash delay off = beacon will synchronize with other beacons connected to this system with the DIP switch off
- Flash delay on = beacon will synchronize with other beacons connected to this system with the DIP switch on
Install the beacons on the pole using the chart below to achieve your desired flash behavior.
