[2025] MX Series product update - new feature: LED sign flash pattern adjustment

This article details an update to MX Series LED signs with the ability to change the default flash pattern.

Product applicability

This article applies to the following products:

  • MX Series: R920-MX, R247-MX, R829-MX, and WWD-MX

When did this update occur

MX Field App began supporting changing the LED sign flash pattern starting in 2025. 

What software version is required

This feature requires MX Field App version 2.3 or newer.

Theory of operation

Adjusting the LED sign flash pattern is found by navigating to:

  • Modules —> MX LED Sign Module —> Module Settings —> Flash Pattern

Each flasher module (LED sign only) flash pattern must be set individually.
