Will SpeedCheck® radar speed display signs encourage speed contests?

This article explains how to set up a high-speed cutoff threshold for SpeedCheck radar speed signs (SPEEDCHECK-15 and SPEEDCHECK-18).

SpeedCheck radar speed display signs are equipped with a “High-Speed-Cutoff” feature that, if enabled, causes the radar speed sign to go blank at excessively high speeds. Another option will cause the radar speed sign to flash the speed limit when an excessive speed is reached. These options can both be adjusted by the end-user via the SpeedCheck Manager software.
