[2022] SpeedCheck® product update - new option: SPEEDCHECK-15/18 external radar kit

When did this update occur

Carmanah started offering the external radar mount option for the SPEEDCHECK-15/18 in 2022 Q1 with new orders.

Theory of operation

Externally mounting the radar can be beneficial in several scenarios:

  • Where Increased range is required
  • Ability to tilt and pan the radar for finer alignment adjustments
  • Better performance for systems installed too far from the roadside
  • Better performance for systems installed with an uphill or downhill flow of traffic
