The above models are the intended applications/markets for the radar detection kit but it can also be integrated into several other Carmanah models.
When did this update occur
Carmanah started offering the Radar Detection Kit option for warning beacon systems starting in 2022 Q1 with new orders.
Theory of operation
The Radar Detection Kit allows you to integrate a warning beacon system into several different applications such as curve ahead or intersection conflict warning. The externally mounted radar allows for the system to only flash when vehicles are detected based on user set parameters, such as eclipsing a preset speed or presence detection.
