Why isn’t the pairing button working for my MX system?

This article discusses the local lockout feature in MX Cloud which restricts the use of local pairing.

  • MX Series: R920-MX, R829-MX, R247-MX, CHEVRON-MX and WWD-MX

MX Cloud users have the ability to individually restrict local system pairing. If the pairing button is not working to connect to your system in the MX Field App this most likely means the end user has restricted this access, known as Local Lockout. Contact an MX Cloud account administrator for this system if you wish to gain access using the MX Field App.
