[2024] MX Series product update - new model: WWD-MX wrong-way LED signs

This article details a new MX Series model using R5-1a wrong-way LED signs.

When did this update occur

Carmanah started offering WWD-MX systems starting in 2024 Q1 with new orders.

Theory of operation

WWD-MX systems are intended to be used for wrong-way warning and detection applications. These can be deployed as such:

  • LED sign(s) flash 24/7
  • LED sign(s) flash at night only
  • LED sign(s) equipped with external radar for vehicle detection
