When does the subscription start for my MX system?

This article details the when the subscription starts for your MX system.

The subscription for your MX system will commence based on the chart below. MX systems use a baseline of its shipment date and the act of powering on the system will determine when the subscription starts.

Unassigned Subscriptions² Assigned to system date Purchase date + 12 months

ÂąMX Plus/Pro subscriptions purchased with systems on an order will automatically be associated and assigned when shipped.

²Unassigned subscriptions are purchased separately from a system. These subscriptions will sit in your "unused inventory" of subscriptions within MX Cloud.

If you plan on powering up the system prior to installing in the field, note that it will kickstart the warranty and subscription for your system.
