The purpose of the radar detection kit, which can be added as a factory option for new systems, is to trigger a beacon system when vehicles or cyclists reach or exceed a user configurable speed. It can also be configured to trigger the beacon system at any speed to warn incoming vehicles or cyclists as per your application.
